Neeraj Roy: Managing Director & CEO, Hungama Digital Media

Neeraj Roy is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Hungama Digital Media. Under his leadership, Hungama today has become the largest Digital Media Company in South Asia.

Neeraj was recently voted amongst the ‘Top Ten mobiThinkers’ and ‘50 Most influential People in Mobile Entertainment’ globally.

Neeraj was also awarded the Sun Microsystems- Economic Times Young Leader award in 2001 and voted as 25 Young Leaders In The New Millennium by Business India. He is an active speaker at various international forums like Mobile World Congress, CTIA, World Handset Forum etc and on several domestic and international committees advising on the global Mobile & Digital Entertainment economy.Neeraj has served as Chairman of the Mobile Entertainment Forum - Asia (MEF) and is currently Vice President of IAA – India Chapter.Known as an innovator, and sought for his vision in the digital and mobile media and entertainment industry, Neeraj leads a team of highly motivated professionals at Hungama.

Rakesh Jhunjhunwala: Chairman

Rakesh Jhunjhunwala is a chartered accountant by qualification and one of India’s leading equity investors. He manages his own portfolio as a partner in his asset management firm – Rare Enterprises. In 2010, Forbes estimated his net worth to be US $1.0 billion, making him India’s Top 50 richest people.

He started dabbling in stocks while in Sydenham College and plunged into investing as a full time profession soon after completing his education. He started his career in 1985 when the BSE Sensex was at 150 points. He has been profiled as one of India’s Five Best investors by Business India magazine in 1998.

Rakesh is the Chairman Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and of Aptech Limited. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Prime Focus Ltd, Geojit BNP Paribas Financial Services Ltd, Bilcare Ltd, Praj Industries Limited, Provogue India Limited, Concord Biotech Ltd, Innovasynth Technologies (I) Ltd, Mid-Day Multimedia Ltd, Nagarjuna Construction Company Ltd, Viceroy Hotels Ltd and Tops Security Ltd.

Ashish Kacholia: Director

Ashish is Director- Research at Lucky Securities Pvt. Ltd and an independent portfolio manager for high net worth individuals. Ashish began his career with Prime Securities Ltd. in 1993, in the proprietary trading business. He later grew with their broking business, to become Head of Research. He then moved to Edelweiss Capital Ltd. where he was responsible for business development and deal orientation for private equity.

Ashish holds a Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering and a Master's in Management Studies from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies.

Hiren Ved: Director

With over 20 years of experience in the Indian equity market, Hiren Ved is the CIO at Alchemy Capital Management Pvt. Ltd, and heads the fund management function at the firm. He also set up the asset management business for the group, and co- managed the private equity investments of the group from 1999- 2001.

Prior to joining Alchemy Capital Management, Hiren worked with K R Choksey & Co, where he quickly rose to Head of Research in 1993.

He thereafter joined Prime Securities Ltd. in June 1994, where he was responsible for investing the proprietary funds of the firm. He was actively involved in investing and managing the firm's asset book in both listed and private equity investments. During his tenure, the firm's asset book saw an increase from USD 6 million to USD 40 million. Hiren also worked with the investment banking team for deal origination at Mergers & Acquisitions, at Prime Securities.

Hiren holds a post- graduate degree in Management Accountancy from ICWAI and Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the Mumbai University.

Rajiv Agarwal: Director

Rajiv Agarwal is a Managing Director with Rare Enterprises, the asset management firm owned by Mr. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala. His role is to look for new investment opportunities and growing Rare Enterprises' strategic investments in diverse sectors such as Education, Biotechnology, Digital Entertainment, Healthcare delivery, Hospitality & Oil Drilling.

Rajiv has been actively involved in shaping the future direction of Hungama by providing strategic inputs and developing strategic alliances for the company. He has been associated with Hungama since 2006. He is also on the Board of several companies such as Care Hospitals, Aptech Ltd, Viceroy Hotels Ltd, Concord Biotech Ltd and John Energy Ltd. He is also an observer on the Boards following companies like KLT Auto, Tops Security and Nandan Biomatrix.

Prior to Rare Enterprises, Rajiv was responsible for sales and delivery of Strategy & Operations consulting work at Accenture, a global management and technology consulting firm. He spent over 12 years with the firm, and has advised with over 100 companies across different countries such as India, Hungary, UK, US, UAE and Indonesia.

Rajiv graduated in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Technology, Benares Hindu University in 1993.

Ralph Simon: Director

Ralph Simon is regarded as one of the founders of the modern mobile entertainment industry. Over the last decade he has been a prominent global trailblazer and innovator, growing the mobile entertainment and content industry, and playing a critical role in its impact and presence worldwide.

Ralph heads the London-based Mobilium International Advisory Group, which provides high level strategic advice and guidance to mobile operators, handset and technology companies, media outfits, movie studios & TV networks, brands, ad agency groups, and platform providers around the world.

He is the founder of the influential Mobile Entertainment Forum – Americas (MEF), the global voice of the international mobile entertainment industry. Prior to his leadership in the mobile entertainment industry, Simon co- founded the independent Zomba Group of music companies (and record label, Jive Records) in London in the 1970s, building it into the music industry's leading independent music company. In the mid-90s, he came to the US as Executive Vice President of Capitol Records and Blue Note Records in Hollywood and started EMI Music's global New Media division.

Siddhartha Roy: CEO Hungama.com & COO Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.

Siddhartha Roy is the Chief Executive Officer of Hungama.com and Chief Operating Office of Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. His key responsibilities include strengthening the digital marketing initiatives for the company, by providing their expanding client base with quality, innovative content and marketing solutions. Under his guidance, Hungama has set up a one of its kind consumer venture in digital entertainment. He has previously also been responsible for spearheading the Hungama Mobile business.

Siddhartha is also the co- founder of BigAdda, India’s largest youth network, a part of the Reliance ADA Group. During his tenure Bigadda gained a vast user base of 2.4 million. Prior to Bigadda.com, he has also worked with MTV Networks and Star TV, India. He has over 10 years of experience in new media communications.

Albert Almeida: COO, Hungama Mobile

Albert Almedia is the Chief Operating Office for the Mobile Business at Hungama where he is responsible for Hungama’s Domestic and International Mobile business covering Entertainment, Platforms and Applications Businesses. Under his guidance, Hungama Mobile has been creating convergence opportunities in media, entertainment and marketing for our telecom partners. These innovative and strategic concepts result from Albert’s experience of over 20 years in the field of media, entertainment and marketing.

Prior to joining Hungama he led the team at Sony Entertainment Television in the capacity of Executive Vice President and Business Head where he was responsible for building the brand via content, marketing and promotional strategies. Prior to Sony, Albert worked with J. Walter Thompson (JWT) - WPP GROUP, Mumbai and New York as Vice President and Regional Account Director. Synergizing his vast experience with excellent management skills, Albert comes across as an inspirational leader who has effectively managed teams and business in local and international markets.

Albert holds a Bachelors Degree in Commerce from Sydenham College of Commerce & Economics and a Masters in Management Studies from Sydenham Institute of Management Studies.

Saumin Shah: Chief Finance Officer

Saumin Shah is the Chief Finance Officer at Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. At Hungama, he is predominantly responsible for driving a team of financial experts that develop and implement an efficient Integrated Management System such as Financial Accounting, Budgeting, Costing, Production, Sales & Payroll. Saumin's responsibilities also extend to the Business Intelligence, Legal & Administration teams at Hungama. Under his able leadership, all these teams work seamlessly, to achieve the financial and business goals of the company.

In a career spanning over 15 years, Saumin brings forth excellent skills in Financial Management. Prior to joining Hungama, Saumin was working with Jagran Prakashan Limited, handling Business Segment of Complete Out-of-Home Media Solutions as Head – Finance & Commercial and with Sri Adhikari Brothers Television Network Ltd.- (Sab Tv) as Sr. Manager – Finance & Accounts. Saumin holds a degree in B.Com from the University of Bombay and is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Manish Verma: Chief Technology Officer

Manish Verma is the Chief Technology Officer in Hungama. He has witnessed the growth of internet in India and has been successfully building and running large scale internet portals and operations for the past 16 years at leading digital media companies and ISPs.

He was associated with Zapak Digital Entertainment Limited, Yahoo! Balaji Telefilms Ltd. Rediff.com. He was last associated with Network18 Media and Investment Limited, as the Chief Technology Officer. He is early big data adapter and innovator to build various big data platforms to solve business problems due to rapid data growth. He has spearheaded some of the large big data platforms in the country for audience profiling, targeting, retargeting, engagement and recommendation.

He is Recipient of prestigious “India Innovation Day 2013” award from Minister of state, Communication and IT with Government of India for “Big Data Technology Innovation” for one of his first platform. He has also received CTO Crown Industry award for Innovation, Growth and scalability in 2014.

In Hungama, he is driving the technology strategy for building Music and Video delivery platform, Mobile Internet portals and Voice businesses.

Carlton D’Silva: Chief Creative Officer

Carlton D’Silva is the Chief Creative Officer at Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Under his guidance, Hungama has created more than thousand digital campaigns, many of which have won accolades, such as the PMAA’s Abby’s and The Globes. With 13 years of experience, his expertise in the digital arena is imaginative and inspiring, giving the company a creative edge in the industry. Prior to Hungama, Carlton headed the Creative Department at Internet Resources Pvt. Limited. He then moved to Hungama in its early days in 1999 and was instrumental in creating the brand it is today. With an agile and dynamic team of visualizers, designers, and copy writers, he has been responsible for creating over 3500 websites and games for domestic and international clients. He is also on the jury of the Abby Awards (Ad Club of Bombay) and the New York Ad festival.

Over the last decade, Hungama has created and executed some award winning campaigns in the digital space. The company has created innovative marketing solutions for over 350 brands including Coca Cola, Nokia, MasterCard, ICICI Bank, Axe, Nike, Bacardi and Cadbury’s.

Suleman Mobhani: Director & Co-founder, Bollywood Hungama

Anuj Bajpai: Senior Vice President, Managed Services

Anuj Bajpai is the Senior Vice President of the Managed Services department at Hungama. He is responsible for devising the business plans for content, voice, platforms and new business ideas wherein he provides strategic direction based on consumer needs. His team handles the end to end management of voice services and platforms and is responsible for the growth of the Hungama Voice business. Under his leadership, the voice team rose from a six member team to a significantly large strategic business with a PAN India presence across all telecom operators.

Anuj holds post graduate diploma in Management from the Institute of Productivity and Management, with a specialization in marketing. Prior to Hungama, Anuj had a stint with Spice Corp. Global and T-series, which contributes to his extensive knowledge in the music and content industry. He has also worked with World Wide Immigration, Pepsi Beverages and Dabur India Ltd, which contributed to his comprehensive knowledge on brand promotion, marketing and product strategizing.
